hi my name is emily. im 16 and ive tried a million and one diets, but i think thats all going to change! anyway so i am the leader of the team, DONE BEING THE FAT GIRL! and this team is for anyone, so please join! anyway, so a little more about me: I'm from NewYork, i have a big family,and im really nice :) (unless of course u give me a reason not to like you) lol......im Christian Orthodox, although im not sure what the orthodox part means, but we do some of the same traditions.i love to dance(american and belly). ive come along way since my newyork days(i live in arizona now), im not gonna lie, i used to be the bully type, but now its the complete opposite(but NEVER underestimate me and what i can do :)....im pretty smart, straight A student :) my parents are pretty supportive of me, my sisters, not so much. anyway, so ill tell u why i am here and why im sooo biggg. ok well im here to lose weight, yes. but to also be healthy and yes live longer. i want to be fit and wear cute clothes, the same stuff most ppl want out of lossing weight, right? anyway heres my "source" of why im big. so first off im middle eastern(arabic) and my family revolves around food, not kidding! i was raised to finish a plate and evenhave seconds(all the time). Even when i wasnt hungry, it was just dailey routine for me to eat, so what did i do? i ate.and thats what made me a chubby kid.o and if ur wondering about exercise, i got just as much exercise as most kids i guess i would say....anyway so as i grew a little older, i finally got my period(at the age of 10) and most girls gain weight when they get their periods, or at least in my fam. so i craved more things and with cramps and what not, i became lazier. so i gained weight, a LOT! and once these cravings did not go away, i just kept gettin bigger, i was a size 16 when i was 12 years old. ok so even at that time i tried diets, but i always gave in :( but now that im a bit older(16) im getting better with my eating habits. last year in 08 during the summer, i lost like 17 lbs in three weeks, i was so happy, i went down to 209lbs. but then my bro passed away late august and i was with my family the whole time, so no exercise. plus we ate sooooo much rice, and fried chicken, etc. i ate so poorly for months(yea morning process is long for us) although i did do a lot of walking. anyway so i had gained those 17 pounds back, plus 15 more...this was also due to the fact that i ost my uncle in jan of this year, so once again more poor eating :(.....so when i started AGAIN on April 7th. anyway, so as a career i want to be a Financial Advisor. i know, odd? lol...but i like working with numbers, budgets, interest, savings, etc. wow that was lonnng! Starting:243 Current:228.4 October goal:225
