So, it looks like the general trend on sparkteens is to forget all of our October slip ups and start anew as we go into a colder month. We will binge on candy tonight and sit on our butts and hope to god this doesn't effect our weekly weigh in as we try to learn from our passed diet mistakes. I am getting on this trend and trying to promise to myself that I will put in an honest effort this month.
I have been feeling really down lately because I haven't been exercising and I have been really sick lately. My kitty is also missing. He has been missing for a few days now. He is a partly outdoor cat, so it isn't unusual for him to roam around. We have really no reason to be worried, but we just want him to come home. He's in the neighbourhood, this we know for sure, because we have asked around and a few of the people have seen him. But anyway. While I have that weighing on my mind, I know I can make steps to react to it in a healthy way besides binging on candy and sitting on my butt. I feel really good when I am exercising and exercising and eating right can boost your immune system.
So November is going to be a stressful month. I have to work extra hard to keep my grades up because we get our midterm report marks and those get submitted to universities. We also start the application process this month. I am really nervous to do that. I also have my first campus tour scheduled for the 28th. We are going to tour Ottawa U and in March I am going to tour Carleton U, which is my top choice. I am really nervous to start applying. But again, I figured exercise and eating right can help me stay focused during a stressful time like this. I will be in a better mood. I will be sleeping better. I will be focused more in class. So I have devised a week-by-week plan to stay healthy and active during the month of November. These are weekly challenges I have set up for myself to ensure I stay on track.
Week 1: Keep up with all my workouts
Week 2: Drink 8 glasses of water a day
Week 3: Get more vegetables in my diet
Week 4: Increase intensity in my workouts
The only way to start seeing results is to up the intensity in workouts once our bodies have become accostumed to regular physical activity. I am going to weigh in tomorrow as a fresh start weight, and make my goal from there. I want to look really good for when I go off to university and now is the time to start changing my habits. I may need some motivation, but you guys have always been here for me! Thanks for all the comments on my blogs and your continued support!
Lots of love, happyness and Beatles songs,
Trisha
