what made me successful

so I was thinking back to the summer. when my weightloss journey was quite successful. so i'm going to list the things that I think helped me.. mainly just for myself. and then i'm going to try and do everything like I used to and then I should be successful, right?

okay, here goes:
1. tracking my food
2. daily exercise
3. drinking lots of water
4. weekly weigh-ins
5. daily blogging

why they helped
1. I didn't want to write down something I shouldn't eat.. so I wouldn't eat it in the first place. and then with tracking, i always had to measure what I ate
2. duh duh duh duh. i'm doing good with that though.
3. need to get a little better with that. I have this misconception that I only need to drink water the days that I run.. but thats wrong wrong wrong!
4. I think these really motivated me. I didn't want to screw up because I didn't want it to show in my weigh-ins
5. I think expressing your feelings is very healthy and neccessary to live a good life. also, its a source of motivation from comments and whatnot.

so there it is. 5 things that I feel made me most successful. the hardest ones for me are definitely tracking my food and weekly weigh-ins. I have this mindset that they are very time consuming even though they really aren't.

and my new motivation plan has been quite successful so far.. of course.. its only been one day.. but still. theres nothing quite like a shopping trip to reward your efforts..and nothing like not being able to shop (when you're a shopaholic like me) to punish yourself.

I just have a feeling like this is going to be a successful month. like.. after 2 months of being wayy off track, that this is it. this is the last time i will need to 'get back on track'

i have this math competition thing on wednesday and before we go we're all eating pizza, but i'm just going to pack my lunch and eat a nice healthy meal.

sounds like a plan.

peace,
mollz

You are doing really well. And that's really cool that you can actually say what made you successful. I hope when I reach my goals, I will be able to do this too. Proud of you girl!
