Spread the Spark PR Team

-- By The SparkPeople Team
Are you ready to shout your love for SparkPeople from the rooftops?  SparkPeople is always looking for members who would like  to be interviewed (or provide quotes) to newspapers and other news outlets in their area.   Becoming a "local connection" to the media in your area is one of the most effective ways for you to "spread the spark" to hundreds people in your community.  You can make it happen....join the team now!

Here are some additional tools and resources you can use to "spread the spark" to your local media:

Spread the Spark PR Team – This SparkTeam will provide opportunities for you to interact with others who have connected with their local media.  Join the team to stay up-to-date on all of the latest PR (public relations) opportunities.

Suggest a Reporter for us to Contact– You know your local news anchors and reporters much better than we do.  Post a quick message on this thread to tell us the best person for us to contact in your area (please provide: your city, the reporter's full name and the website of the media they report for), and we'll do the rest!

Send a Letter to the Editor– Send an email or letter to the News Desk or Editor of your favorite local newsletter or community paper.  In a few sentences, explain how SparkPeople.com has helped you and provide your contact information in case they want to follow up with you.

SparkPeople Press Room– Check out our previous press coverage and PR hits!  Some even feature SparkPeople members like you.  If you see a story that mentions SparkPeople in your local media, email the story link to Press@sparkpeople.com or send the newspaper clipping of the story to the SparkPeople HQ:

Thanks for "spreading the spark"!
