System: Fitness: Stress Management

Why is stress management important?
Stressed out people are generally unhappy, unhealthy and unproductive. From heart problems and ulcers to teeth-grinding during sleep, Stress can harm your health in dozens of ways. Besides, when your mind is preoccupied with Stress, it can't focus on the issue at hand. That's why it's also linked to memory loss and, well, general misery.

What role does stress management play?
Stand up and tense your leg muscles. Now, without relaxing them at all, try to jump. Can't be done. Fact is, tense muscles can't perform. You have to be somewhat loose before you can spring into action. With less Stress in your life, you'll be able to use your physical and mental muscle. It's a lot more fun too.
